Keep Dumpster Damage At Bay!
Place plywood pieces or 2′ x 6′ boards between the dumpster and your driveway. Most dumpster services will do this but ask BEFORE you book to make sure that they do.
TAKE IT TO THE STREETS
To completely avoid damage to your driveway, park the dumpster on the street in front of your property. Check with your local village or township to see if it is allowed and what permits you may need to do so.
WATCH FILL LINES
Every dumpster has clearly marked fill lines. Never exceed these lines and you will reduce the strain on your driveway. Overfilling can cause damage and even make it hard to haul the dumpster away.
SWEEP IT UP
Once a dumpster has been hauled away, sweep your driveway. This catches any extra, or smaller, debris that may have fallen and decrease the chance of damage to driveways and vehicles. Some dumpster services will even sweep for you.
